He was a pioneer in the field of artificial neural networks and co-authored the influential book “Perceptrons,” which helped launch the field of connectionism.

Herbert Simon was an American economist and computer scientist who developed the concept of bounded rationality, which explains how individuals make decisions based on their limited cognitive abilities. He also co-developed the General Problem Solver with Allen Newell and made significant contributions to the development of AI.
